Harnoor Singh, MD

Director, RAD-AID India

Dr. Harnoor Singh grew up in a family of physicians including his mother, paternal grandfather, and many aunts and uncles who fueled his passion for healthcare. He was, however, inspired most by his mother who, till date, is the most dedicated and caring physician (OB/GYN by specialty) that he has ever met. Her honesty, simplicity, and generosity in the workplace led him to be the compassionate physician he is today. Dr. Singh attended the same medical school as his mother (Government Medical College, Patiala), Baba Farid University of Health Sciences in Punjab, India, to achieve his dream of becoming a healthcare provider. After graduating and completing a medical internship, he moved to the United States. He now specializes in breast imaging at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

He has co-authored papers such as “Early Detection of Breast Cancer” and “Community Outreach in Breast Imaging,” which have since been published in Radiographics.

Dr. Singh is grateful to have become a part of the Rad-Aid India team. It is an honor and privilege for him to be a part of an organization that is committed to helping people receive the best medical care throughout the world by bridging the access gap to radiology.
