Volunteer with RAD-AID South Pacific
Tonga is an island country consisting of 171 islands located in the South Pacific. Tonga has a population of around 100,000, with 70% of the population residing on the main island of Tongatapu.
RAD-AID is partnered with Vaiola Hospital, the main hospital in Tonga, located on the outskirts of the capital city, Nuku’Alofa.
In 2025, RAD-AID sent mammography volunteers to work with technologists on-site at Vaiola Hospital to provide training in mammography, breast health education, and QC testing.
